Holiday Stress
Filed under Coaching BlogNov 17We are into the holiday season. The holidays always seem to stress many of us. There is just so much that has to be done, on top of our already busy schedules. And let’s not forget the people that we must endure over the holidays, that normally we would avoid.
With all this added stress, we need to remember to take a little time for ourselves. Taking a little bit of “ME” time will help you through the stressful parts of your day.
If you feel yourself in a stressful situation, BREATH. Taking 10 slow, cleansing deep breaths will help lower the stress level that you are feeling. This will also help lower building blood pressure, and head off that stress headache.
Another way to keep stress levels down is aromatherapy. Lavender essential oil is a wonderful aroma to instill positive feelings and lower stress. Just a couple of drops of lavender in a base oil in an oil burner will infuse the air with this wonderful scent.
This is wishing you a stress free holiday season.

I looove Christmas season - stress is a part of it, but it sounds good to relax using aromatherapy. I would appreciate it if there are scents which also reminds me of Christmas. Thanks for sharing. =)
